Why did you choose GCU? I choose GCU because I fell in love with how at home I felt once I visited the campus. I also choose this school because of cheer because I’m more involved in the school, and I’ve become a better person joining this cheer team, and I also created a new family.
When you are not cheering, where can you be found? You can find me hanging with friends, shopping, or at GCBC studying.
Who is the most influential person in your life? The most influential person in my life is my dad. My dad is the person the refuses to let me give up. He always keeps me focused on my goals, and motivates me to be an even better person than I was yesterday. He’s there for me whenever I need and supports me in every way possible even if sometimes he doesn’t agree. He is an amazing role model and couldn’t be where I am today about him.
What is one piece of advice you would give someone who dreams of becoming a GCU Cheerleader? My best advice would be coming into the team with a positive attitude and open mind to trying all kinds of new things.
Fun Fact: I’ve been doing gymnastics for twelve years, and I’ve been doing cheer for only a year.
Favorite Bible Verse or Quote: “And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.” 1 John 4:16
