Why? ?did? ?you? ?choose? ?GCU? ??I chose GCU because when I got to visit the campus for the first time I immediately felt at home. GCU felt like a perfect fit for me because of the Christian environment, exceptional academics, and the amazing cheer program!
When? ?you? ?are? ?not? ?cheering, ??where? ?can? ?you? ?be? ?found? ??When I am not cheering, I can be found hanging out with my teammates or at the library doing homework!
Who? ?is? ?the? ?most? ?influential? ?person? ?in? ?your? ?life? ??The most influential people in my life are my parents. They have taught me everything I know and have made me into the person I am today. I am so thankful and blessed to have them in my life, they mean the world to me.
What? ?is? ?one? ?piece? ?of? ?advice? ?you? ?would? ?give? ?someone? ?who? ?dreams? ?of? ?becoming? ?a? ?GCU? ?Cheerleader? ?One piece of advice I would give to someone who dreams of becoming a GCU Cheerleader is to be yourself. I remember being told multiple times during tryouts how crucial character is to this team. It’s important to be genuine, who you are as a person should be just as important as your skills!
