Bio
Post-Graduation Goals: I want to become a teacher, start a family, and eventually travel the world.
Why did you choose GCU? I chose GCU because of the community and learning experience it offers. I love the small classrooms and atmosphere of the classes and Education program. I also was attracted to the cheer team because of its’ values and high expectations of its’ members. GCU truly offers more than an education, it offers a home and a family.
When you are not cheering, where can you be found? You can find me coloring in my room, watching Netflix, or hanging out with friends!
Who is the most influential person in your life? The most influential people in my life are my parents. Without their love, support, and guidance I would have never been where I am today, and for that I thank them every day. My parents have the patience to listen to me, through the good days and the bad, and I look up to them in every way. They are role models and I strive to be the people they are.
What is one piece of advice you would give someone who dreams of becoming a GCU Cheerleader? My best advice would be to make the most of every opportunity. Whether you have the chance to come to a clinic, or just have to do another rep at a practice, always utilize each moment, because you never know when that moment will come back to you. Also, let your character shine through everything you do! Who we are as people is the most important part of who we are, regardless of skill set.
Fun Fact: I broke my jaw when I was 7 but no one ever notices the scar until a year after knowing me.
Favorite Bible Verse or Quote: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6
