Why did you choose GCU? I chose GCU not only because it is close to home and has a strong nursing program, but also because I have fallen in love with the cheer program. In addition, I wanted to attend a Christian university that resembled and upheld the core values and beliefs that my high school did.
What are your plans for post-graduation? Although I am a current pre-nursing student, I plan to potentially switch majors in order to cheer for 4 years and have a longer college experience. I will then plan to continue my lifelong dream of becoming a missionary nurse by completing nursing school after I graduate.
Piece of advice for someone wanting to be a future GCU Cheerleader? The best piece of advice that I can give someone wanting to become a GCU Cheerleader is to attend as many prep-clinics as possible in order to experience the atmosphere and culture of the team.
Fun fact about yourself: I have two beautiful dogs, a bearded dragon, and 5 desert tortoises!
