Post-Graduation Goals: I hope to be a trauma surgeon and work with a service based company like Doctors Without Borders or the Red Cross.
Why did you choose GCU? GCU’s energy and community was amazing, and the Christian emphasis and culture made me know it was the right choice.
When you are not cheering, where can you be found? Traveling or exploring the outdoors. I love going on adventures to fun and interesting places.
Who is the most influential person in your life? The most influential person in my life is my mom. My mom has supported me through my entire athletic career. Even when I got last place at a meet, she made me feel like I had just one the Olympics. She has stood by me through my best moments and triumphs and has reminded me to bless the talent I was given in my worst days.
What is one piece of advice you would give someone who dreams of becoming a GCU Cheerleader? Just go out and have fun. Know that you yourself are beautifully and wonderfully made so be yourself and remember it is all worth it.
Fun Fact: I’ve never seen Spongebob.
Favorite Bible Verse or Quote: “Don’t fear, because I am with you; don’t be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will surely help you I will hold you with my righteous strong hand.” Isaiah 41:10
