Post-Graduation Goals: I want to get my Doctorate in Physical Therapy and coach a high school team
Why did you choose GCU? I had a college fair in high school and GCU instantly caught my attention. The videos showed so much school spirit and I knew I wanted to be a part of that. The campus is also beautiful, and everyone is extremely welcoming. I wanted to move out of state and Arizona far enough to experience living on my own but not too far which allows me to drive home when I am homesick.
When you are not cheering, where can you be found? When I am not cheering, you can find me hanging out with friends, studying, or napping. I enjoy going on hikes, to the river, or any outdoors activity or adventure. You can also find me at the library doing homework or studying. I can definitely be found knocked out in my bed napping when I have the chance.
Who is the most influential person in your life? The most influential people in my life are my mom and dad. They are the most supportive, strongest people with such a loving heart. They hold me to high standards, and I couldn’t thank them enough for that because it has made me who I am today. If I need guidance or just some extra loving on, I can always count on them.
What is one piece of advice you would give someone who dreams of becoming a GCU cheerleader? My one piece of advice is to not give up on your dream. Work hard towards accomplishing your goal by going to cheer clinics, watching the cheerleaders at games, and knowing all the try out material posted. Even if things don’t go your way at your first try outs, if your dream is to be a GCU cheerleader, don’t give up on it. Work harder.
Fun Fact: I eat Hot Cheetos with sour cream
