Why did you choose GCU? I chose GCU because I fell in love with their modern campus, and friendly nature. The people that I met were incredible and the Discover trip blew me away. I love the heat, so Arizona was a perfect location. Once I found out GCU had a cheer team I was sold.
When you are not cheering, where can you be found? You can find me anywhere from painting to singing, to playing sports in the grove. I love the outdoors, so I rarely spend my days inside.
Who is the most influential person in your life? The most influential person in my life has been my Dad because he has truly shaped me into the man I am today. He has taught me everything from holding doors open for ladies to how to change a spare tire. I couldn’t imagine having a better hero in my life.
What is one piece of advice you would give someone who dreams of becoming a GCU Cheerleader? Once piece of advice I would tell them would be “the work you put in today will show in the effort you give tomorrow. Love what you do and always keep pushing yourself, have faith in God’s plan for you and he rest will fall into place.”
Fun Fact: I have traveled to 26 different countries.
Favorite Bible Verse or Quote: “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” Romans 5:3-4
