Why did you choose GCU? I chose GCU because I like how they support a Christian environment and promote a positive atmosphere at all the events. I have family members who are alumni, so I have been attending events at GCU for many years. This school feels like a second home. I always had a passion for cheer and dreamed collegiate cheer would be a part of my college experience.
When you are not cheering, where can you be found? When I am not cheering, I am usually either at the gym, playing piano, singing and working on my vocal range, or volunteering in my community.
Who is the most influential person in your life? The most influential people in my life are my loving parents. They have always supported me throughout everything I do and have kept me grounded. They encourage me to pursue my goals and keep me motivated.
What is one piece of advice you would give someone who dreams of becoming a GCU Cheerleader? My best advice would be to be mentally prepared to work hard. One way to define a GCU cheerleader would be grit and a true passion for the sport. It requires a lot of time, energy, and dedication, but the experience is rewarding. You get to be a part of an amazing cheer family and you will make memories that will last a lifetime.
Fun Fact: I love to sing, dance, and perform.
