Bio
Major/Minor: Master’s in Business Administration
Post-Graduation Goals: I want to become a CEO and potentially own my own company and also have a family.
Why did you choose GCU? I chose GCU because it’s a small private Christian University and my family and I are believers in the Christian faith. Not only is it a private Christian University where my faith can be accepted and practiced. Also, the tuition is very reasonable and out-of-state people like myself, do not pay any difference.
When you are not cheering, where can you be found? You can find me either in my room doing homework, getting my nails done, shopping, or hanging out with friends because I love to be around people.
Who is the most influential person in your life? The most influential person in my life is my mother. My mother is such a kind, loving, thoughtful, generous, and strong woman. When I look at her I see a woman that has so much love for people especially her family. She will do anything for anyone whether you are a friend or relative. My mother goes above and beyond for the ones she loves, and I have seen her sacrifice everything she has for our family in order to give us the life we have. If it was not for her, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.
What is one piece of advice you would give someone who dreams of becoming a GCU Cheerleader? My best advice would be to train hard for tryouts, go in confident, make sure their packet is filled out correctly and free or error, and be yourself. There is nothing better than to just be yourself so that throughout those three days of tryouts, the coaches can see who you are and what type of person you are. Be confident in all you do and trust in the Lord because He has a plan for you no matter what.
Fun Fact: I have 110 pairs of shoes!
Favorite Bible Verse or Quote: Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".
