Major/Minor: Biology with an Emphasis in Pre-Medicine/ Psychology
Post-Graduation Goals: I want to become a Doctor and work in the pediatric intensive care unit. Would also want to start a family.
Why did you choose GCU? I choose GCU because of the smaller class sizes and because of the one on one availability with the faculty and staff to help me grow as a student and as an individual. I also choose GCU because of the Christian values and the implication in my education was important to me. Also for the cheer program because of the family like atmosphere and the opportunity to be an ambassador for a university.
When you are not cheering, where can you be found? I can be found in GCBC studying or hanging out with friends. I study for my classes every day and being in the coffee shop on campus allows me to stay social but also on top of my work.
Who is the most influential person in your life? My mom is the most influential person in my life. She is strong and has the best work ethic I know. She is able to balance our family, and her work gracefully and I hope to be as great as a mother one day like she was to me.
What is one piece of advice you would give someone who dreams of becoming a GCU Cheerleader? One piece of advice I would give someone who dreams of becoming a GCU Cheerleader would be to be yourself during your tryout. Being vulnerable during tryouts will help your personality shine through.
Fun Fact: A fun fact about myself would be that I helped organize and plan GCU’s welcome week.
Favorite Bible Verse or Quote: “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” Philippians 1:6
