Bio
Major/Minor: Elementary Education
Post-Graduation Goals: I hope to be able to impact in lives of my students and be a good family leader.
Why did you choose GCU? I came to GCU because I loved the campus atmosphere and I wanted to become a part of a great cheer team. A spiritually-based campus was a necessity and GCU fit the bill!
When you are not cheering, where can you be found? Generally relaxing in my room or hanging out or being active with my friends.
Who is the most influential person in your life? The most influential person in my life has got to be my Grandma. She has worked so hard to give my sister and myself a life that we can love and be comfortable with and has always and continually pointed me towards Jesus. She is one of the strongest women I know and without her I would not be anywhere near the man I am today.
What is one piece of advice you would give someone who dreams of becoming a GCU Cheerleader? My piece of advice for anyone who wants to be a GCU Cheerleader is be ready to put in work. Whether that is work on yourself as a person, as yourself as a student, or on your skills and game day presence. Our team is a lot of hard work but the turnout is SO worth it!
Fun Fact: I love musicals, Disney, and everything scary! Also: I’m kind of an oddball.
Favorite Bible Verse or Quote: “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all the wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs form the spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word of deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3: 15-17
