Grand Canyon women's golf, under the helm of first-year head coach
Brent Nicoson, announced the upcoming season's full fall and spring schedule.
"Coach (Leila) Raines and I are extremely excited to get to work and start the season," Nicoson said. "Our team is anxious to get back on the course and excited to compete again as a unit. I believe in this group of young ladies and this year's schedule will test us immediately, which will benefit us as we move through the season and into the spring."

The season consists of 12 tournaments, including five in the fall and seven in the spring. The Lopes open the season at the Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Sept. 9.

The fall sees the Lopes travel across the Midwest and West portion of the country, including a stop at the Chambers Bay in University Place, Washington, host of the 2015 U.S. Open and 2022 U.S. Women's Amateur. GCU also makes stops in Fort Collins, Colorado, as well as Lawrence, Kansas, and Kapolei, Hawaii.

The spring slate opens in Palm Desert, California, on Feb. 15-17 before the annual GCU Invitational on Feb. 24-26 at GCU Golf Course. The Lopes then play four tournaments in a three-week stretch with stops in La Quinta, California, on March 10-11, and three straight tournaments within its home state in Sedona (March 14-16), Tempe (March 28-30) and Maricopa (April 2-3).

The Lopes also stay near home for the WAC Championship, which will be held April 14-16 at Wigwam Golf Club in Litchfield Park, just went of Phoenix.

GCU returns four Lopes in
Sloane Bayer,
Amelia Curtis,
Brenna Preap and
Lena Tremouille, from a 2023-24 campaign that saw the team win five team titles. The Lopes added  five transfers, including
Calynne Rosholt, who previously played for Arizona State and competed in a 2023 NCAA regional.

The group of transfers also includes All-Americans
Anci Dy and
Jess Haines, who played under Nicoson and won the NCAA Division II national championship at UIndy last season.
Alyzzah Vakasiuola is a local transfer from Mesa Community College, where she earned multiple All-American honors with the Thunderbirds, while
Matilda Samervong will compete for the first time as a collegiate golfer from Linkoping, Sweden.
