The Grand Canyon women's golf team heads to the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate at the Highlands Ranch Golf Club in Highlands, Colo. The invitational will have three rounds with the first starting on Friday October 8 at 7:30 a.m. (Phoenix time)
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
- SIX LOPES:Â The Lopes travel six athletes five of which will compete for the team score and one who will compete as an individual. Alexis Linam, Siripatsorn Patchana, Carly Strole, Payton Fehringer, and Lani Luafalealo will compete for the team with Constanza Guerrero competing as an individual.
- SENIORS STANDOUT:  GCU travels three seniors for the third weekend in a row. Seniors, Siripatsorn Patchana, Payton Fehringer and Alexis Linam look to lead the Lopes to a top finish in the 14-team tournament. Patchana finished a team best ninth in their last tournament.
- TEN NEW TEAMS: The Lopes will face off with ten new teams that they have not played against this season. GCU has played against Colorado State, Davis, Iowa, and Rutgers in their opening weekend at Wisconsin.
Ron Moore
Participating teams in the Ron Moore will be GCU, Cal Poly, Colorado State, Denver, ETSU, Hawaii, Iowa, Kansas, Nevada, Northern Colorado, Rutgers, San Francisco, Tulane, and UC Davis. All 14 teams will take on the par 72 and a total of 6,415 yards each day. Each team will compete in three rounds with the first one taking place on Friday Oct. 8 at 7:30 a.m. (Phoenix time).

LAST TIME OUTÂ
The Lopes took fourth place Tuesday at the 14-team Bearkat Invitational behind host Sam Houston, California Baptist, and ULM. With Patachana finishing a team best ninth and Luafalealo coming in at 14th a season best for her.Â

WHAT'S NEXT
The Lopes will close out the fall season with the Clash at Boulder Creek invitational on October 24-26.Â
