Jaengkit Named WAC Golfer of the Week

Jaengkit earns first WAC golfer of the week honor
Grand Canyon University golfer Charlotte Jaengkit has been named the Western Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week for Feb. 10-16, following her strong performance on the green last week.
Jaengkit was Grand Canyon's top finisher at the Le Triomphe Collegiate Invitational, earning second place out of 94 golfers in the tournament. In the first round, she shot a one-under par 71 to tie for first. She finished the final round three strokes behind the tournament winner with an even par 144. Her score helped the 'Lopes take third among the 18 teams in the field.
This marks Jaengkit's second honor in the conference this season. For the month of October, she was selected as the WAC Golfer of the Month after her accomplishments in the fall.
