Women's Golf Finishes in a Tie for Third at Chico Invite

The Grand Canyon University women’s golf team finished in a third-place tie at the Chico State InterWest Invitational. The Invitational was played on the Canyon Oaks Country Club course in Chico, Calif.
GCU shot a 62-over 638 on the par-72 course. Chico State fired a blistering 302 this afternoon and won the tournament with a 43-over 619.
Charlotte Jaengkit led the Antelopes with a 10-over 154 and completed the Invitational in a tie for sixth. Cal State Monterey Bay’s Arinda Bhanaraksa carded a 1-under 71 today to earn the medalist honors for the Invitational (148).
GCU’s Eryn Olson finished in 14th (159), while teammate Emily Kaye was tied for 17th (161).
Grand Canyon will be off until April 1 and 2 when they host the Grand Canyon Women’s Invitational at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Ariz. The Invitational will be played on the Blue Course.
