Lutz tied for lead after first round of GCU Invitational Jennifer Lutz
AVONDALE -- GCU senior Jennifer Lutz (pictured, Mesa, Ariz./Mesa HS/Mesa CC) shot a 3-under-par 69 and is tied for the lead after the first round of the GCU Women's Fall Invitational at Coldwater Golf Course Monday.
The final round begins Tuesday at 7 a.m. Lutz is tied with Northern Arizona's Alexa Kim.
As a team, GCU is second, after a round of 5-over-par (293) trailing Division I NAU by eight strokes.
Western Washington and CSU-Monterey Bay are tied for third, each with a 296.
GCU freshman Alexandra Malmsjo (Stockholm, Sweden/Saltsjobaden) is tied for ninth after a round of 1-over-par 73.
