FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Grand Canyon shot a 315 and is five strokes off the lead after the first round of the Mountain Shootout at Flagstaff Ranch Golf Course Monday.
GCU is tied for fourth with North Dakota State. Southern Utah leads the event with a 310. All teams ahead of GCU are Division I programs.
GCU's Jacqueline Sneddon (pictured, Meigle, Scotland/Madras/Elmwood College) is tied for fifth after shooting a 4-over-par 76. Northern Arizona's Megan Buck and North Dakota State's Amy Anderson are tied for the lead with 74s.
