OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Grand Canyon University women's golf team placed third at the St. Martin's University Jacque SneddonInvitational Friday.
GCU shot 642 in the two-day event at Olympia Golf & Country Club. Western Washington won the tournament, shooting 619. West Texas A&M was second at 626.
Grand Canyon's Jacqueline Sneddon (pictured) shot 82-75 -- 157 to tie for sixth. Teammate Jennifer Lutz shot 79-82 -- 161, finishing 10th. Jacqueline Schram shot 85-77 -- 162 to tie for 11th. Brittany Anderson shot 83-80 -- 163 to tie for 13th, and Erica Schlomer shot 84-87 -- 171 to tie for 19th.
