Trey Whistle is in his first season of coaching with the Grand Canyon University lacrosse program.

Whistle, who serves as a volunteer assistant, works with the face-off groups, as well as the defensive midfielders.

Whistle comes to the coaching side of the program after playing four years with the ‘Lopes. He was an NCAA D-II WILA All-Conference honorable mention choice and a MCLA Honorable Mention All-American.

Whistle went to Har-Ber High school in Springdale, Arkansas, and was Lacrosse Magazine’s choice as best player to ever come out of Arkansas in 2010.
