No. 19 Antelopes Lose To No. 7 Gauchos

No. 19 Grand Canyon was outscored 6-2 in the fourth quarter, thwarting their upset bid of No. 7 UC Santa Barbara, losing 11-7 to the Gauchos at Reach 11 Sports Complex Tuesday.
Carson Barton, a candidate for MCLA Player of the Year, had three goals and Jason Klein added two. Sackett Keesen and Drew Dziadyk also had goals. Nick Castelli had a pair of assists. Chris McWilliams, Cody Wagner and Geoff Barnes all had one assist each.
Goalkeeper AJ Wilkerson had 15 saves and Ron Hamwey was 17-of-22 on faceoffs.
