Manny Rapkin is in his second season as Grand Canyon University's lacrosse head coach.
In his first season at GCU the Lopes won15 games, captured the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference championship, and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association National Championships. The 2011 ’Lopes set school records for wins, goals for and goals against.
Rapkin joined Grand Canyon in 2010 serving as the assistant coach and director of recruiting. He came to GCU after spending four seasons at Dominican College, the last two as head coach. While at Dominican, he coached a pair of all-conference selections and guided the Chargers in 2010 to their most wins in school history. In addition, Rapkin's 2010 squad set 14 school records, highlighted by shattering the school's goal scoring record by 50 goals (169-119).
Prior to his time at Dominican, Rapkin was an assistant coach at Desert Mountain High School and Saguaro High School, both located in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Rapkin played lacrosse and football collegiately at Division I Siena College.
