The Grand Canyon swimming and diving team is prepared for a weekend WAC showdown in Riverside, California.
Â
The Lopes come off a dual meet with Idaho and Simon Fraser to compete with conference foes Seattle U and California Baptist, the host, as well as Denver.Â
Â
The Lopes men hold four of the best times in the WAC while the women hold 12 of the conference's top event times.
Â
GCU divers are coming off a meet in which
Reece Robles and
Isaac Poole took first and second in their competitions. Robles also won the WAC Diver of the Week.
Â
The last time the Lopes traveled to California Baptist was during the 2021-22 season, when the women won 163.5-132.5 and the men fell 115.5-183.5.
