The Grand Canyon swimming and diving team is prepared for a weekend WAC showdown in Riverside, California.
The Lopes come off a dual meet with Idaho and Simon Fraser to compete with conference foes Seattle U and California Baptist, the host, as well as Denver.
The Lopes men hold four of the best times in the WAC while the women hold 12 of the conference's top event times.
GCU divers are coming off a meet in which
Reece Robles and
Isaac Poole took first and second in their competitions. Robles also won the WAC Diver of the Week.
The last time the Lopes traveled to California Baptist was during the 2021-22 season, when the women won 163.5-132.5 and the men fell 115.5-183.5.
