The Grand Canyon men's tennis team kicks off its fall tournament season on Friday with a trip to UNLV for the Larry Easley Memorial Classic.

The three-day tournament starts a fall slate that features four events spread over September and October. GCU also will travel to the Arizona Invitational in Tucson on Oct. 1-3) and to the SDSU Invitational hosted by San Diego State on Oct. 8-10.

The fall will wrap up with the annual ITA Southwest Regional, hosted by Pepperdine from Oct. 21-25.

The Easley Classic will feature five other West Coast programs, including host UNLV, Arizona State, Gonzaga, San Diego State and Cal Poly. The format features singles and doubles draws with the finals of both competitions taking place on Sunday morning.

The Lopes will send five players, four of them returners from their NCAA tournament team in the spring:
Mariano Argote,
Jiri Novak,
Freddie Grant and
Loic Van Zeggelaar. One newcomer,Â
Grzegorz Rudnicki, will join GCU's lineup after transferring from Ottawa this summer.
