The Grand Canyon swimming and diving team is headed to California Baptist to face off against the hosts as well as UC San Diego.
Â
GCU has not swam against UCSD since 2013 when the Lopes women were defeated on the road, but the men came out victorious in their 2014 match up. The men have not lost to UCSD in all three of their meets, all of which were on the road.
Â
Earlier this season the Lopes visited Riverside, Calif. in a multi-team meet. The women will look to make it two victories while the men hope to get revenge. Currently GCU sits ahead of CBU in points from the season.Â
The Lopes come off a home meet with New Mexico State, Ottawa, and Arizona Christian winning all five duels.
