GCU will compete in seven different fall events that span across the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, International Tennis Federation and the United States Tennis Association before wrapping up the season with a hidden dual in Phoenix.

The fall season will begin this upcoming weekend at the ITA All-American Championships. Newcomers
Pablo Salvador and
Gerhard Sullwald will compete for the Lopes in on the campus of Tulsa in a pre-qualifying 256 player draw on Saturday and Sunday before the main event 128-player draw begins on Oct. 2. This is the first time the Lopes have competed at this national event. The rest of the team will head to UC Santa Barbara for a traditional fall tournament from Oct. 6-8.

October continues with a pair of ITF events in Las Vegas on Oct. 16-22 and in Harlingen, Texas from Oct. 23-29. Sandwiched in between these events will be the annual ITA Southwest Regional hosted at Pepperdine from Oct. 19-23. This event will bring together the best Division I players from across the Southwest to compete in a 128-player singles draw and a 64-pair doubles draw. The winner of the singles and doubles draw will advance to the ITA National Fall Championships in November.

The final road event this fall will take place at Arkansas for the 15K Fayetteville Futures event hosted by the UTSA from Oct. 30-Nov. 5.

GCU will wrap up the fall season with a hidden dual in Phoenix from Nov. 3-5.

The Lopes are coming off a strong debut season for Coach Siddiqui in 2023 that featured an appearance in the semifinals of the WAC Tournament. Six players return this season including two of the top three singles players.
