The Grand Canyon swimming and diving team is ready for what could be another classic in their Friday matinee WAC showdown in Colorado Springs, Colorado with Air Force.

The Lopes come off a dual meet at California Baptist the women put on a dominant performance and the men are hoping to bounce back with the experience they gained.

The Lopes women are a force to be reckoned with in the 400 medley relay and 200 medley relay. In both events
Briana Rittenbach has continued to be huge as well as her individual events.

The Lopes divers look to build some momentum after facing some top-tier competition in Irvine two weeks ago.

The last time the Lopes faced Air Force was last season, when the men won in dramatic fashion. With the men's 200 yard freestyle relay closing out the day, the men's team was trailing by four points entering the event. The winner of the relay race receives 11 points for the team score.
The Lopes were neck and neck with the Falcons at each split in the relay, but solidified the team victory in the final split of the relay with a total race time of 1:23.25.
