Last fall event begins Monday morning in O'ahu

The Grand Canyon women's golf team travels to Manoa, O'ahu, to compete in the three-day Rainbow Wahine Invitational, hosted by Hawaii. The first round begins Monday morning with the third and final round on Wednesday.

This week's Lopes lineup is made up of senior Carmen Belmonte, juniors Constanza Guerrero, Lani Luafalealo and Becca Tschetter, and freshman Ryan Flynn. The tournament is a homecoming for Luafalealo, who is from Honolulu and attended Moanalua High School.

The Lopes finished in the top 10 in two of their three tournaments this fall with a team-best fifth-place finish in the Colonel Wollenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic in late September.

Joining host school Hawaii and GCU in the field are CSU Bakersfield, Northern Colorado, Charleston, CSU Northridge, Gonzaga, Portland State, Wyoming, Colorado State, Fresno State, North Dakota State and Sacramento State.
