The Grand Canyon women's golf team placed four Lopes on All-WACÂ teams with senior
Siripatsorn Patchana and freshman
Lani Luafalealo named to the first team and junior
Payton Fehringer and freshman
Carly Strole making the second team.
"I'm extremely proud and happy for Siri, Lani, Carly and Payton for being named all-conference," GCU head coach
Lauren Giesecke said. "This shows the hard work and patience they put in, in this hectic year. To get these high accolades in just half a season speaks volumes with the reduced year and the extra rules put in place. I'm proud of this group."
The Lopes led the WAC with the most selections. Joining Patchana and Luafalealo on the first team were New Mexico State's Pun Chanachai, Alison Gastelum and Amelia McKee and Utah Valley's Victoria Estrada.
The second team included Strole, Fehringer, Samantha Bruce of Seattle U and the California Baptist duo of Sofia Chabon and Hailey Loh.

Patchana becomes a three-time honoree on the first team, having won the award each season (no awards were given for 2019-20).
A quick start landed Patchana as the No. 32-ranked individual in the country in February. The Bangkok, Thailand, native ended the year as the WAC leader in stroke average with a 73.9 mark in 21 rounds.

Luafalealo appeared in 18 rounds this season and was second best in the WAC to Patchana with a 74.2 stroke average.
Her inaugural season included a second-place finish at the Cowgirl Classic and a fifth-place finish at the GCU Invitational. The Honolulu, Hawaii, native also led the Lopes with 12 birdies in the UNLV event.

Strole finished the year with the 10th-best stroke average in the WAC at 75.0 and was one of five conference players to card a WAC season-low round of 67.
The Goodyear Millennium High School graduate claimed medalist honors at the Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Strole tied with Luafalealo at the GCU Invitational for fifth place. Strole was GCU's third-best finisher at the WAC Championship, finishing 10th.

Fehringer owned the sixth-best stroke average in the WAC at 74.8 and also fired a WAC-low round of 67 this season.
The Pocatello, Idaho, native led for two rounds at the WAC Championship before finishing as the runner-up. She led wire to wire at the Red Rocks Invitational to claim medalist honors and played a WAC-high 24 tournament rounds this season.
"This also shows just how deep of a team we have with these four returning," Giesecke said. "Having them return with a strong group of 12 players next year, I do see that being a huge benefit for us. We took multiple people to multiple events this year. It just pushed them and made them stronger."
