The Grand Canyon swimming and diving program returns home for the first meet of 2020, facing BYU on Saturday.
The one-day meet begins at noon (Phoenix time) at Fr. Edwards Reese Aquatic Center in Phoenix.
Last year in Provo, the men beat the Cougars 169-130 and the women fell 170-101.
For the men, sophomore swimmer
Mazen Shoukri leads the WAC in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle.
GCU also leads the WAC in the 200 freestyle relay, which was set at the Purdue Invitational in November. Senior diver
Pietro Hufnagel Toscani has won every meet he has competed in and has earned WAC Diver of the Week three times this season.
Sophomore swimmer
Kyra Forrest leads the WAC women in the WAC in the 200 backstroke while the 50 and 100 breaststrokes are led by junior
Alyssa Christianson and
Marina McInelly.

Fr. Edward Reese Aquatic Center is located at Brophy College Preparatory at 4701 N. Central Ave. in Phoenix. The pool is on the east side of campus with parking on the south side.
