The Grand Canyon men's tennis team will begin the fall season on Friday when the Lopes head south to Tucson for the Wildcat Invitational. The tournament will run through Sunday at the Ventana Canyon Golf and Racquet Club.

This will be the first of four team eventsΒ that the men will compete at this fall, along with senior
Lorenzo FucileΒ participating at the ITA Masters next week in California.

This will be the first opportunity for head coach
Greg PrudhommeΒ to evaluate his six returners, five incoming freshmen and one transfer that make up this year's squad. The Lopes are looking to find replacements for graduates

Mathieu Rajaonah, who combined for a 33-14 record in singles and 28-14 record in doubles last season. RajaonahΒ has joined Prudhomme's staff as a graduate assistant.Β

Jakub Novak after he won WAC Freshman of the Year last season.
