The Grand Canyon men's and women's swimming and diving teams host their first home meet of the season on Friday and Saturday at Fr. Edward Reese Aquatic Center in Phoenix.
The men will face Air Force, while the women face Air Force, New Mexico State and Idaho in a two-day meet. Friday's meet starts at 3 p.m. (Phoenix time) and Saturday will begin at 11 a.m.
Last season, the GCU men's team tied Air Force after Day 1 and then took a 143-100 victory after Day 2. The women fell to Air Force, Idaho and New Mexico State.
The Air Force men's team is 3-3 this season with two wins over Colorado Mesa (264-129, 171-123) and one over Colorado School of Mines (183-106) while falling to BYU (177-215), Wyoming (141-159) and Denver (95-203). The Air Force women's team is 4-3, grabbing victories over Colorado Mesa (233-160, 178.5-117.5), NAU (146-96) and Colorado School of Mines (206-84) while the losses came to BYU (119-273), Wyoming (126-174), and Colorado State (115-127).
Idaho has a 2-3 record this season and beat College of Idaho (191-46) and Northern Colorado (152-148). It fell to San Diego State (71-76), Boise State (78-221) and Washington State (89-173). New Mexico State is 0-2 this season with the losses coming from Northern Colorado (136-162) and Wyoming (122-178).

Fr. Edward Reese Aquatic Center is located at Brophy College Preparatory at 4701 N. Central Ave. in Phoenix. The pool is on the east side of campus with parking on the south side.
