Lopes look to continue strong Harbottle Invitational play
The Grand Canyon women's golf team heads to the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational, an 18-team event that is hosted by Seattle U on Monday and Tuesday at Tacoma Country and Golf Club.
Last year, the Lopes were in contention to win the tourney and finished in third place. Siripatsorn Patchana, now a GCU junior, led the Lopes with a three-round total of 218.
This year, GCU is competing in Lakewood, Wash., with a field that includes host Seattle, Houston Baptist, Weber State, Santa Clara, Eastern Washington, Gonzaga, Boston College, Cal State Northridge, North Dakota State, Montana, South Dakota State, Idaho State, Cal Poly, CSU Fullerton, South Dakota, Montana State and Washington (individuals only).
Play will consist of 36 holes on Monday and a final 18 holes on Tuesday.Â
