Jaengkit Wins Second WAC Golfer of the Week Award

Won individual medalist honors at GCU Invite, tied for second at Red Rock Invite
Grand Canyon University junior golfer Charlotte Jaengkit picked up her second Western Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week Award, as announced by the conference office today.
She also won the award for Feb. 10-16 and was named WAC Golfer of the Month in October.
Jaengkit tied for first following three rounds at the GCU Invitational and won individual medalist honors following a three-hole playoff. She had the second-most birdies (9) of the 84-player field, six of which came in the second round to better her first round score by six strokes. Jaengkit helped Grand Canyon finish fourth of 15 teams.
Jaengkit also tied for second at the Red Rocks Invitational after carding a 2-under-par 142, just one stroke out of first place. It was her seventh top-10 finish in eight tournaments this season as her team finished fourth.
The Antelopes will be back in action on March 13-14 when they travel to St. George, Utah for the Southern Utah Thunderbird Invitational.
