GCU recruit wins British Championship

Grand Canyon University women's golf recruit Tiffany Hewetson recently won the British Colleges Sport National Championships Golf Competition at Park Hill Golf Club in Leicester, England.
Hewetson, from Sussex, England, will be a GCU freshman this fall.
She carded a two-under-par opening round total of 71 and played even with a 73 in the second and final round to win the title by two strokes. Her score of 144 was lowest, including the boys, in the tournament.
Hewetson won 11 individual titles in 2009.
