SPRINGS, Fla. -- Grand Canyon University placed 10th in the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational at Tuscawilla Country Club Tuesday.
GCU's women's golf team improved each round and had a three-round total of 982 (339-325-318). Nova Southeastern won the event with a 900, led by individual champion Sandra Changkija, who shot a 7-under-par 209 (70-69-70).
GCU senior Jennifer Lutz tied for 15th with an 18-over-par 234 (80-79-75). Junior Brittany Anderson finished tied for 36th and had the 'Lopes best round of the tournament with a 1-over-par 73 for the second round. She finished with a 243 (89-73-81).
Georgina Dunn tied for 51st (85-85-81 -- 251). Alexandra Malmsjo finished 55th (85-88-81 -- 254) and Jacqueline Sneddon tied for 63rd (92-88-85 -- 265).
