GCU battles windy day to finish second at Otter Invite

SEASIDE, Calif. -- Grand Canyon finished second and had the best second-round score at The Lady Otter Invitational hosted by CSU Monterey Bay at Bayonet Golf Club Tuesday.
GCU shot a 316 on a windy day where gusts were estimated to be as high as 25-30 mph. GCU had a two-day total of 636 and finished six shots behind tournament winner Cal Baptist (307-323 -- 630).
Grand Canyon's Georgina Dunn (Peterborough, England/King's School/New Mexico State) was the only player in the tournament to shoot in the 70s for both rounds. She finished 10-over-par (79-77 -- 156) and tied for third, just two shots off the individual title won by Cal Baptist's Adriana Niclotti (74-80 -- 154).
