Bio
Major/Minor: Business Management with a minor in Marketing
Post-Graduation Goals: My post-graduation goal over the short-term would be to work for GCU for the next 2-4 years. For long-term, I eventually want to move to North Carolina and work with my uncle at QuintEvents and eventually raise a family out there.
Why did you choose GCU? I chose GCU because there is no other school like it. The Havocs are wild and so much fun to interact with, the campus is beautiful, and the people are all so genuine and real with each other. It also provided me with the opportunity to attend the Colangelo College of Business, which has helped me broaden my connections and networking abilities in the business world.
When you are not cheering, where can you be found? When I am not cheering, you can probably find me either in the weight room getting some reps in or at Qdoba getting some quality gains.
Who is the most influential person in your life? The most influential person in my life is my mother. She is the strongest woman I have ever known, and while we may have had our fair share of hardships in the past, she has always made sure that I have what I need to succeed both in school and in life. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her love and support.
What is one piece of advice you would give someone who dreams of becoming a GCU Cheerleader?
My best advice would be to give it your all on every single rep and always have a positive mindset. Often, I have found that you can be your own worst enemy if you get down on yourself. If you say you can’t and you say you can, you’re usually right both times. Stay positive and give it 110%, and the rest will follow!
Fun Fact: I am a huge Marvel fanboy and I even own a full-size replica of Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir.
Favorite Bible Verse or Quote: “The task ahead of you will NEVER be greater than the strength that lies within you.” – Steve Weatherford
