Had the game-winning RBI in the form of a sacrifice fly in GCU's walk-off win over Penn State on March 9.

2017 | Sophomore
Due to a 27-game stretch of missed time due to injury, Pavlica played and started in 26 games on the season, batting .294.
Made a highlight-reel catch where he hung on to the ball after a collision with the center field wall at Saint Mary's on March 3, but missed half the season with a resulting wrist injury.
Returned to action in GCU's rubber match win at Chicago State on April 15, starting in center field and collecting two hits in his first two at bats.
Hit a key, late-game, two-run home run against UTRGV on April 21. Later in the series, doubled to open the 10th inning and scored the winning run on a Garrison Schwartz walk-off on April 23.
Homered and drove in three runs against Kansas on April 26.
Had two hits, two runs, two walks and a career-best five RBIs in blowout win over Seattle U on May 6.
Posted a spotless 1.000 fielding percentage, recording the third-most chances in the conference with such a mark (behind only Griffin Barnes and Jared McDonald).

Appeared in 42 games for Grand Canyon (31 starts), batting .294 with 24 RBIs and three homers.
Named WAC Hitter of the Week for March 1-6. Made noise in his first two career starts, recording seven RBIs on 5-of-8 hitting in a pair of wins over Omaha on March 5 & 6.
Second on the Lopes with eight multi-RBI games including a pair of four-RBI games.
Recorded Grand Canyon's only individual multi-home run game of the season, doing so on the big stage at Big-12 foe, Kansas State on April 27. He homered to left field in the second inning to put the Lopes on the board and homered in the eighth for GCU's sixth and final score of the game. He also doubled as a part of a 3-for-4 day.
Showed versatility by ranking top five on the Lopes in slugging percentage (.429) and stolen bases (8).
Hit five sacrifice flies on the year, a mark which ranked second in the WAC.
Picked up a hit in his first five career starts while totaling nine total RBIs over his first three career starts.
Tallied four RBIs with consecutive sacrifice flies and a two-run double in GCU's 9-4 defeat of CSU Bakersfield on April 2.

Helped lead his team to a state championship as a junior in 2014.
Hit two run-scoring triples in the title game to propel the Patriots past Centennial 5-3.
Tabbed Liberty's offensive player of the year as a junior and defensive player of the year as a sophomore.
Won two state titles for American Legion baseball.
Also played two years of varsity football, finishing as a Nevada First Team All-State selection at defensive back as a senior with 76 tackles and six interceptions.

Sister, London, plays women's basketball at Dixie State University where she was a freshman in 2018-19.
Hobbies off the field include hiking and traveling.
Chose Grand Canyon because of the "great atmosphere at the university, coaching staff, growing college, and wanted to be a part of something new."
If he wasn't playing baseball, he'd be playing sand volleyball.
