- Earned All-WAC honors for the second straight year, landing on the second team as an outfielder.
- Led the Lopes in hits (83) and doubles (21). His doubles mark ranked second in the WAC and 22nd nationally, while his hits mark ranked 25th nationally.
- Ranks fifth in GCU's Division I history with 197 career hits despite only being an everyday starter for two seasons. Other top marks in the program's Division I leaderboards: batting average (.349, 5th); runs scored (126, 7th); doubles (42, t-4th).
- Named a Preseason All-American by Perfect Game.
- Voted the WAC Preseason Player of the Year by the conference's head coaches.
- Opened the season on a 12-game hit streak.
- Doubled twice with three RBIs to lead the Lopes to a win in the series opener at USC on March 1, a series GCU went on to win.

- Led his team with a .514 batting average including 36 hits and 28 RBIs as a senior in 2016, earning Continental League Co-Player of the Year recognition.
- Drafted in the 38th Round of the 2016 MLB Draft by the Colorado Rockies.
- Ranked as a top two outfielder in his class in the state of Colorado by Perfect Game.
