- Named a second-team All-American by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, GCU's first D-I All-American.
- Won the WAC Pitcher of the Year — the first by a Lopes player — while earning a spot on the All-WAC first team as a starting pitcher.
- Was named the WAC Tournament MVP after tossing a complete-game shutout in a blowout victory over No. 2-seeded Sacramento State.
- Earned all-region recognition.
- Tied for the nation's lead with seven complete games.
- A 2.60 ERA ranked 60th nationally and led the WAC.

- Walking just one batter, Ohl ranked third nationally in fewest walks per nine innings (0.32).
- His 17-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio ranked 10th in the country.
- Ended shortened season with back-to-back seven-inning outings of one-run baseball with five strikeouts and no walks at Stanford on Feb. 29 and vs. Pacific on March 6.
- Named a Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball, the first GCU player to earn postseason All-American honors at the Division I level.
- Named the WAC Freshman of the Year, the first such honor for a GCU player since Garrison Schwartz in 2015.
- Made more starts (16) than any other WAC pitcher.
- Ranked top 75 nationally and led the WAC in fewest walks per nine innings (1.87), allowing just 19 walks in 91 1/3 innings.
- Posted a 2.37 ERA in WAC play, the second-best mark in the conference.
- Was 1/3 inning shy of tying Kade Mechals (91 2/3) for most innings pitched on the team.
- Tossed a complete game at Chicago State on April 26, limiting the Cougars to just one run while striking out seven. It marked the first GCU nine-inning complete game since Cameron Brendel on May 13, 2016.
- Did not allow an earned run for the first time in a 6 2/3-inning outing at Sacramento State on May 16.

- Walked just five batters in 67 innings as a junior in 2017.
- Posted a .349 career batting average.
- Racked up the accolades for an impressive senior year: Team MVP, first team all-league, all-league MVP, first team all-county, first team All-CIF, second team all-state (medium schools).
