His 75 strikeouts ranked third on the Lopes and ninth in the WAC.
Was the winning pitcher in five of his first seven appearances on the season including Arizona, UC Irvine, California Baptist, Utah Valley and Sacramento State.
Named the WAC Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 28 after making two appearances and getting two wins on the road at Arizona and UC Irvine.
Struck out 10 and allowed only one run in six innings of work in a neutral-site win over No. 7 Stanford on April 23.

First collegiate victory came in home win over Arizona State on April 21. He started and tossed four innings without allowing an earned run.
Provided 2 1/3 critical innings of scoreless relief in the championship game of the WAC Tournament against UT Rio Grande Valley on May 29. Was the winning pitcher, not allowing a hit and striking out three.
After allowing 10 runs in 4 2/3 innings to begin career, allowed just six earned runs in 16 1/3 innings (3.31 ERA) the rest of the way.

Went 11-2 with a 3.49 ERA over his four-year varsity career.
Finished his shortened senior season in 2020 without allowing an earned run in 10 innings of work while also going 10 for 16 from the plate.
Helped lead the Saints to the 5A state semifinals as a junior in 2019 despite entering the tournament as the No. 18 seed. Went 7-1 with a 3.52 ERA on the season, striking out 71 batters in 57 2/3 innings. Picked up a pair of postseason wins and tossed 14 innings in the playoffs.
Tossed six shutout innings in the 2019 Perfect Game World Series.
Also participated in swimming.
A three-year member of the National Honors Society, finished with a 4.06 weighted GPA.
