Personal
Parents are George and Rachel Arias.
Father, George, played baseball at Pima Community College in 1991 and 1992 and then Arizona in 1993 and went on to play four MLB seasons for the Angels and Padres. Was drafted three times, improving his draft stock to be picked in the seventh round in 1993. Hit .345 for the Wildcats with 23 home runs (second-most single-season in program history) and 75 RBIs. After his MLB career, also played professionally in Japan and Mexico.
