AT A GLANCE
Grand Canyon heads to Colorado for its final regular season road match of the season Sunday afternoon at Air Force.Â
Sunday's match will not be streamed. Live stats will be available and are accessible via the schedule page.Â
GCU is tied for second in the WAC standings with eight points, joining both Utah Tech (T, 2-2) and San Diego State (W, 1-0) in that spot. It trails California Baptist by two points, with the top six teams in the standings moving on to the WAC Tournament in Riverside.Â
The Lopes own an 11 goal differential, outscoring its opposition 23-12. Thursday's match versus Utah Tech was the first time this season it allowed two goals in a single match and was the eighth time scoring two or more goals in a game.Â
Freshman Junior Diouf is top 10 in the nation in both goals (12) and points (28) and is one goal away from becoming second on the D-I program single season score sheet. He is tied with Shaun Joash (2022) and four behind Niki Jackson's 16 in 2016. Diouf recorded eight shots against Utah Tech and is seventh in the nation in both shots per game (3.85) and shots on goal per game (1.77).
Graduate Daniel Ibarra is 27th in the nation and second in the WAC in goals against average, allowing just under a goal per game. His .833 save percentage is 12th best in the country and has totaled 12 saves over his last three games.
Graduate Ben Assane has five assists this season, one shy of tying the single season record in the program's D-I era. His five assists are fourth best in the WAC.Â
GCU is 8-3-3 overall and is looking for its ninth win, which would be the most since the 2021 squad who had 15 and made the NCAA Tournament. The ninth win would be the third team since 2018 to achieve nine plus victories. Â
LAST TIME OUT
GCU drew for the second straight match, a 2-2 tie versus Utah Tech at home Thursday.Â

Marcos Goni leads the Falcons with seven points on the season, tallying three goals and an assist.Â
