FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — On Wednesday, the Lopes closed out the Zone E Diving Championships.
Isaac Poole and
Reece Robles competed in the men's Platform competition.
Poole, in his third straight day, finished 13
th with a score of  559.05 points in the finals.
Robles took 20
th with a score of 247.50 in the preliminaries.
For the women,
Abigail Erickson scored 226.55 in the 1-meter event.
The Lopes wrap up a season of success in head diving coach
Daniel Fecteau's first season.
- Erickson took home WAC Women's diver of the year after winning gold (Platform) and silver (3-meter) at conference.
- Shiori Bak took silver at conference in the Platfrom event.
- Earlier in the season, Isaac Poole shattered his own school record in Platform diving with a score of 375.15.
Day two
It was a tough day for the Grand Canyon diving team at the Zone E Diving Championships.
In the men's competition,
Isaac Poole finished the 3-meter event with a score of 253.35.
In the women's side,
Abigail Erickson scored 175.25 and
Shiori Bak scored 208.75 on Platform.
The Lopes will hope to bounce back Wednesday after not having any finals appearances Tuesday.
Day three will include Erickson in possibly her last NCAA diving event in the women's 1m. For the men,
Reece Robles and Poole will compete in the Platform section of the competition.
Day one
The Grand Canyon diving team completed Day 1 at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships.
The event is a three-day competition to narrow the field for the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
On Monday, Grand Canyon junior
Isaac Poole competed in the men's 1-meter competition while senior
Abigail Erickson competed in the women's 3-meter event.
Poole made the finals and ended up in 13
th place with a score of 578.25 points.
"Isaac fought well with a consistent list, really proud of his effort today, but also throughout the season," Lopes diving head coach Daniel Facteau said.
Erickson finished with a score of 233.6 points in the 3-meter competition.
"I am so proud of Abbie," Facteau said. "In her last 3-meter performance of her career, she stepped up and battled with a clean list."
On Tuesday, Erickson will be joined by sophomore teammate Shirori Bak for the women's platform event, meanwhile Poole will shift to the 3-meter competition.

"Tomorrow, Isaac competes 3-meter and Abbie and Shiori compete in their best event, platform," Facteau said. "We are all so excited for them to show off what they've been working all season for."
