Lopes swap conference pods in March, April
The Grand Canyon women's tennis conference season will look a little different than originally scheduled with two WAC pods flipping dates.
The Lopes were slated to play Chicago State and New Mexico State in Las Cruces, New Mexico, this weekend, but those matches have been pushed to April with the WAC pod at Dixie State being moved up.
GCU will now travel to Dixie State for a match with the Trailblazers on Friday along, with a neutral-site match on Saturday against Tarleton. The Lopes will travel to New Mexico State to take on Chicago State on April 17 and New Mexico State on April 18.
The WAC pod in Edinburg, Texas, has not changed and the Lopes will face UT Rio Grande Valley on April 1 and Seattle U on April 2.
