LARAMIE, Wyo. - Grand Canyon rallied from a 3-0 deficit to stun Wyoming 4-3 on Sunday in Laramie, completing one of its most dramatic comebacks of the season.

Wyoming (11-9, 4-6 Mountain West) took the doubles point after winning on Courts 1 and 3. GCU senior Dani Deaifi and sophomore
Bella Crossman secured a Court 2 win by a 6-3 score.

The Cowgirls stretched the lead to 3-0 behind straight-set victories at Nos. 2 and 3 singles. With the dual on the brink, Grand Canyon responded through the bottom half of the singles lineup.
Â
Crossman put the Lopes on the board with a tough win on Court 1. The Austrailian picked up her ninth singles victory of the season in a 7-6 (7-4 tiebreaker), 6-3 battle.
Â
GCU freshman
Hams Metwally came away with a 6-4, 6-3 win on Court 4 with Deaifi following suit with a 6-4, 6-4 victory on Court 5 to tie the dual match.
Â
On Court 6, Lopes freshman Amalia Suciu completed the comeback. The Portugal native clinched the GCU win by fittingly rallying 2-6, 6-2, 6-1 for her seventh victory of the season.
