The Grand Canyon women's tennis team will conclude its fall season this weekend at the Watanabe Classic, hosted by UNLV.

The Lopes will compete against seven teams in their fourth and final fall event, including Texas Tech, Iowa, Utah and WAC opponent Dixie State, across five singles draws and three doubles draws.

The Lopes last competed in October at the ITA Southwest Regional. Puehse and sophomore
Aline Buhr each picked up singles wins in the 128-player main draw. In doubles, Puehse and Strombacha defeated Arizona's Parker Fry and Lexi Ryngler 7-5 in the first round.
