NCAA Diving Zone E Information

3 divers head to NCAA Zone E Diving Championships

The Grand Canyon men's and women's diving teams will travel north to Flagstaff for the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships this week on the campus of Northern Arizona in the Douglas J. Wall Aquatic Center.

Nick Benson, Pietro Hufnagel Toscani and Menna El-Midany hope to secure the remaining NCAA qualifying spots out of Zone E. Twenty-five spots remain for the women in the 1-meter (eight), 3-meter (eight) and platform (nine) while 15 spots remain for the men in the 1-meter (four), 3-meter (five) and platform (six).

This week's diving events will go as scheduled below. All times are listed in Phoenix time.

Monday, March 11

Women's 3-meter Prelims: 11:30 a.m.

Women's 3-meter Finals: 3:10 p.m.

Men's 1-meter Prelims: 11:30 a.m.

Men's 1-meter Finals: 1:20 p.m.

Tuesday, March 12

Women's 1-meter Prelims: 11:30 a.m.

Women's 1-meter Finals: 2:35 p.m.

Men's 3-meter Prelims: 11:30 a.m.

Men's 3-meter Finals: 1:20 p.m.

Wednesday, March 13

Women's Platform Prelims: 11 a.m.

Women's Platform Finals: 1:30 p.m.

Men's Platform Prelims: 11:30 p.m.

Men's Platform Finals: 1:20 p.m.
