Grand Canyon golfer
Siripatsorn Patchana won WAC Golfer of the Month for the second consecutive month.
The junior from Bangkok, Thailand, earned October honors for finishing tied for fourth place at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational and tied for 10th place at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational after winning in September for tying for 10th at the USA Intercollegiate and tying for 12th place in the stroke-play portion of the East-West Match Play Challenge.
In October, Patchana averaged 72 strokes per round. She fired four par or better rounds in her six tournament rounds. Her scoring average in October was more than a stroke better than any other golfer in the WAC.
Patchana ended the fall season as the WAC leader with a 72.2 stroke average.
