The Grand Canyon University men's and women's swimming and diving teams capped off the 2015 WAC Championships Saturday with a strong final day at the Palo Alto Aquatic Center in San Antonio, Texas. The Antelope men and women both finished fourth at this year's championships.
Hannah Kastigar, a five-time conference champion, was named the Women's Swimmer of the Year for her outstanding efforts. Kastigar brought home titles in the 200-IM, 400-IM, 200-fly (Saturday) and was a member of the 200-medley and 400-medley relay teams. The accolade comes after Kastigar was named the Freshman of the Year at last year's championships.
Iryna Glavnyk swam to four conference titles, winning the 100-back and 200-back (Saturday), while also being a member of the 200-medley and 400-medley relay teams.
Iegor Lytvenok set a new pool and WAC record in the 200-back, touching the wall in a time of 1:42.94. For the Canyon divers,
Michael Bidak took 12
th on the platform board Saturday, accumulating a score of 196.50.

Illya Glazunov combined to take second in the 400-free relay Saturday, while Glavnyk,
Rebecca Coan,
Celine Schoemans and Kastigar collected a third-place finish in the same event with their time of 3:25.30.
NAU took home the women's team title, while UNLV captured the men's title.
